ZRB-KVVR flame retardant soft core control cable is suitable for fixed installation on AC 50Hz, voltage level of 1kV and below transmission and distribution lines for transmitting electrical energy; Flame retardant wires and cables; Mainly used in places with high flame retardant requirements such as power plants, petrochemicals, steel plants, tunnels, papermaking, substations, and electronic computer centers; Characteristics of flame retardant wires and cables: Flame retardant wires and cables refer to the characteristics that prevent flame propagation when cables are bundled and laid. They can limit the burning area of wires and cables to a range of 2.5 meters, thereby reducing the loss of fire.
Main technical indicators of flame-retardant cables: 1. DC resistance of finished cable conductors (Class R) (in accordance with GB3956 regulations) 2. Power frequency voltage test: AC 50HZ3.5KV/5min, no breakdown IEC flame retardant rating. In order to evaluate the flame retardant performance of cables, the International Electrotechnical Commission has developed three standards: IEC60332-1, IEC60332-2, and IEC60332-3. IEC60332-1 and IEC60332-2 are respectively used to evaluate the flame retardant ability of a single cable when laid in an inclined and vertical manner (corresponding to GB12666.3 and GB12666.4 standards in China). IEC60332-3 (corresponding to GB12666.5-90 in China, GB12666.5 has been replaced by GB/T 18380.3-2001) is used to evaluate the flame retardancy of bundled cables during vertical combustion. In contrast, the requirements for flame retardancy of bundled cables during vertical combustion are much higher. IEC60332-1/BS4066-1 Flame retardant rating (Flame Test On Single Vertical Insulated Wires/Cables) This is the flame retardant standard for single cables. According to the test regulations, a 60cm long specimen is vertically fixed in a metal box with an open front wall. A propane burner with a flame length of 175mm contacts the cable at a 45 degree angle from a position 450mm away from the upper fixed end of the specimen. If the damaged part of the specimen is not more than 50mm away from the lower part of the fixed end during combustion, the test passes. Flame retardant cables ◎ IEC60332-3/BS4066-3 Flame retardant rating (Flame Test On Bunched Wires/Cables) This is the flame retardant standard for bundled cables. According to the test regulations, a bundle of 3.5m long cable samples is fixed on a trapezoidal test stand with iron wire, and the number of samples is determined according to the non-metallic materials required for different classifications. The sample is vertically hung on the back wall of the combustion furnace, and air is introduced into the combustion furnace through the air inlet on the bottom plate. The propane flat burner is in contact with the sample with a flame at 750 ℃. Under forced air blowing (airflow emission of 5m3/minute, wind speed of 0.9m/second), the sample must not ignite within 20 minutes of vertical combustion, and the cable will extinguish on its own within 2.5 meters of flame propagation. IEC60332 is divided into Class A, Class B, Class C, and Class D to evaluate the flame retardant performance.
