Detection Principle

The YC-102 practical cyanide analyzer is designed and developed according to the national standard HJ484-2009 "Method 3 Isonicotinate Barburic Acid spectrophotometric method". Under weakly acidic conditions, cyanide in water samples is added with reagents and undergoes a series of reactions, ultimately producing a purple blue compound. Within a certain concentration range, its color is proportional to the cyanide content. Users can directly measure the cyanide content in water samples by adding matching reagents on the instrument after collecting the water sample.
