XGARD2-B/O2Oxygen leak monitoring alarmIt is explosion-proof and can detect oxygen and flammable gases. The sensor for detecting oxygen is based on the electrochemical principle, and the corresponding standard sample gas should be selected for calibration according to customer requirements before leaving the factory. The sensor for detecting combustible gases is based on the principle of catalytic combustion, with a detection range of 0-100% LEL for combustible gases.

The explosion-proof shell structure of the product varies depending on the gas being detected and the sensors installed inside. Customers can determine the required probe type based on the type and range of gas to be detected, referring to the certification mark of the explosion-proof enclosure.

Each gas detection alarm in this series of products has a corresponding identification. When ordering or requesting spare parts from CROWCON, please indicate the module number, gas range, and sensor type.

The power supply requirement for Xgard Bright explosion-proof standard output gas detector is 24VDC (usually) to provide a 4-20mA standard signal (sink or source) proportional to the gas concentration. Provide relay alarm signals for two-level concentration exceeding limits, and provide fault alarm signals for one detector. According to customization, 485MODBUS and HART functions can be provided.

1.1. Certification

This product has obtained explosion-proof certification: EEx d Ⅱ C T6, and can be used in hazardous areas 1 and 2. Installation must comply with local laws and regulations. For more information, please contact CROWCON.

Note: If there is no explosion-proof certification mark on the explosion-proof shell, the gas detection alarm cannot be used in hazardous areas.
