Product Overview: WP Worm Gear Reducer
WP worm gear reducer is developed on the basis of WD reducer. The worm gear is made of 45 # high-quality steel and processed by heat treatment. The worm gear is cast with tin bronze, which has good wear resistance, especially in terms of bearing capacity. The worm gear reducer is mainly suitable for deceleration transmission of various mechanical equipment such as plastics, metallurgy, beverages, mining, lifting and transportation, chemical construction, etc.
Performance characteristics:
1. The transmission is smooth, with low vibration, impact, and noise, a large reduction ratio, and wide versatility, which can be used in conjunction with various mechanical equipment.
2. It can achieve a large transmission ratio through single-stage transmission, with a compact structure. Most models of reducers have good self-locking properties, which can save braking devices for mechanical equipment with braking requirements
3. The meshing friction loss between the worm gear teeth and the worm gear tooth surface is relatively large, so the transmission efficiency is lower than that of gears, and it is prone to heat generation and higher temperature.
4. The requirements for lubrication and cooling are higher.
5. Good compatibility, the worm gear and worm are manufactured according to national standards, and standard parts are used for bearings, oil seals, etc. 5
6. There are two types of box body types: basic type (the box body is a vertical or horizontal structure with a bottom board) and universal type (the box body is a rectangular prism with fixed screw holes on multiple surfaces, without a bottom board or with additional bottom boards)
7. There are two types of input shaft connection methods: basic type (single input shaft and double input shaft) and motor flange.
8. The position direction of the output and input axes has the input axis below and above; Output axis up and down; Input axial up and down.
9. Two or three reducers can be used to form a multi-stage reducer to achieve a maximum transmission ratio.
Working conditions:
1. The worm speed of the worm gear reducer cannot exceed 1500r/min.
2. The working environment temperature is -40 ℃ -+40 ℃. When the working environment temperature is below 0 ℃, the lubricating oil must be heated to above 0 ℃ before starting,
When the working environment temperature exceeds 40 ℃, cooling measures must be taken.
3. The worm gear reducer can rotate forward and backward when entering the shaft.
Notes:
1. Worm gear shaft must not be used as an input shaft.
2. The matching motor (i.e. power) cannot exceed the value specified on the label.
3. If the user wants to change the direction of the shaft, they can remove the two end covers of the shaft, take out the worm shaft, and adjust it by 180 degrees. Just load it in.
Do not forcefully tap during installation, but slowly drive the two shafts to make them mesh.
