The VPF-710 digital visibility sensor can measure visibility and has a lifespan of over 20 years. The sensor is compact, durable, and has * * timing performance, suitable for various extreme environments.
measuring principle
The VPF-710 sensor uses infrared forward scattering technology to measure visibility in all weather conditions. The sensor calculates EXCO (atmospheric extinction coefficient) by measuring small suspended particles (fog, mist, smoke) and large particles (rain, snow, ice particles, drizzle), and then derives MOR (meteorological optical range) and visibility from EXCO.
data output
Sensors are usedRS232C is used as the standard signal output., RS-422/RS485 can be selected as the communication output. The data output variables are ASCII data strings, such as compressed small data strings, extended data strings, and monitoring data strings. The output unit of data can be set to automatic mode or Polled mode, and the data can be sent to a printer or a PC for labeling, processing, and archiving.
Maintenance, calibration, and automatic detection
The sensor has been calibrated before leaving the factory. During normal maintenance, only one person needs to calibrate the sensor within a few minutes. The working status of the sensor is obtained through automatic detection function. The sensor is very lightweight and easy to install, and can be completed by one person.
Extreme working temperature
Sensor operating temperature range:-50~When the sensor is used in an environment below -30 ℃ at 60 ℃, it is recommended to use a heated version of the sensor.
Unparalleled precision
The design, light source, wavelength, and optical structure of HSS sensors give them world-class accuracy.
set up Calculation:Due to the use of unique brick technology,HSS sensors are widely recognized for their good correction of atmospheric extinction coefficient (EXCO), resulting in improved visibility.
light Source:The light source is an infrared diode, which has been proven to have higher accuracy, longer lifespan, and continuous reading than visible light. It has the advantages of brick technologyThe design of HSS sensors means that other sensors cannot achieve their performance.
wave Long:The light source and wavelength (850nm) selected by HSS are considered to have good accuracy around 1 mile, with excellent frequency shift performance for wavelengths ranging from white light (visibility below 1 mile) to blue light (visibility from 1 mile to several miles). Other forward scattering sensors can detect the white light spectrum, while HSS sensors can detect the frequency shift from white light to blue light spectrum, ensuring accuracy in high visibility ranges.
Optical structure:The reflection of light from snow and surface water accumulation may cause measurement errors, which is a common phenomenon in some sensors,The HSS sensor probe is horizontal, which ensures that the measurement is not affected by ground reflections and also has a undisturbed sample area under strong winds and precipitation.
