Common interference:
1. The following coexisting ions do not interfere with the measurement: Ca2+(125 times), Fe2+(60 times), M r12+(60 times)
Cl - (60 times), N03- (60 times), Mg2+(25 times), Cu2+(25 times), NH4+(25 times), Cr6+greater than 125 times can interfere with the determination and can be removed using Na2S03.
2. The color carried by the liquid itself can also cause interference. Activated carbon can be used for decolorization.
