Terahertz is safe and non ionizing, bridging the mid infrared and microwave bands. The Easy QCL system is a key terahertz radiation source that uses a refrigerant free Stirling cycle cooling system and does not require additional calibration. Some users can exchange multi-mode QCL modules, providing milliwatt level power in the range of 1.8 to 5THz.
The Easy QCL system includes:
QCL laser diode module
Stirling cycle cooling system
CW or Pulse mode QCL driver (<0.2 µ s up to DC)
The Easy QCL system is simple and easy to use:
² No refrigerant required, closed-loop cooling mode
² No optical calibration required
Maintenance free Stirling cycle cooling system
Manual or computer-controlled laser bias voltage (compatible with USB and Windows XP/Vista/7)
Portable and compact packaging
Application:
Ø Focal plane array light source
Ø Wide absorption characteristics
Ø Gas Optics MHz
Ø Detector noise and response rate characteristics
QCL characteristics:
Spectrum: Multimode and single-mode laser diodes are optional, and frequency adjustable models will be launched soon
The divergence angle of the light beam is related to the actual configuration, ranging from 5 to 35 degrees (FWHM)
CW mode is optional
