Detailed introduction of mixed signal oscilloscope:
The MSO4000 series mixed signal oscilloscopes (MSOs) offer all the features and advantages of the DPO4000. The DPO4000 series mixed signal oscilloscopes (DPOs) are the first oscilloscopes to provide available deep storage, outstanding performance, serial triggering and analysis options, and the most compact appearance in their class on all channels. The MSO4000 series mixed signal oscilloscope has added 16 integrated digital channels, allowing for viewing and correlating analog and digital signals on a single instrument. This integration capability extends the triggering function to all 20 channels, providing ideal code and state triggering functions for debugging analog and digital hybrid designs.
Easy to set up and use
The MSO4034 mixed signal oscilloscope features a 10.4-inch large XGA display and a clean front panel with familiar knobs. Its package thickness is only 5.4 inches and weighs only 11 pounds. Through USB plug and play operation and PC connection capability, you only need to connect the USB cable from the oscilloscope to the PC to collect data and measurement results from the instrument. The provided applications include National Instruments SignalExpressTM Tektronix software OpenChoice? Desktop and Microsoft Excel and Word toolbars allow for quick and easy direct communication with Windows PCs. The USB and CompactFlash ports on the front panel can easily transfer screen images, instrument settings, and waveform data, allowing you to master these data. In terms of mixed signal design and debugging, you hope that the instrument is intuitive and easy to use, so that problems can be quickly solved. The operation of the MSO4000 series is similar to that of an oscilloscope, and an oscilloscope is a tool that you already know how to use. You don't have to relearn how to use the instrument every time you turn it on.

Imagine how you would use the Internet effectively without search engines such as Google and Yahoo, without web browser functions such as favorites, without links, and without Internet service providers such as AOL and MSN! So, you will now know how most modern oscilloscope users feel when attempting to use the long recording length of a digital oscilloscope. Record length is one of the key indicators of an oscilloscope, which refers to the number of sample points that can be digitized and stored in one acquisition. The longer the recording length, the longer the time window that can be captured with high resolution (high sampling rate).
The world's first digital oscilloscope could only capture and store 500 samples, making it difficult to collect all relevant information for the investigated events. Over the years, oscilloscope manufacturers have offered increasingly longer recording lengths to meet the demand for long capture windows with high resolution. High resolution has either become the standard configuration for most mid-range oscilloscopes, or users can choose to upgrade to recording lengths of a few megabits. The recording length of these few megabits usually represents the signal activity of thousands of screens. Although the standard record length has significantly increased in recent years and can now meet the vast majority of application needs in the market, tools for economically and efficiently viewing, observing, and analyzing long record length collections have not received much attention until now.
The MSO4000 series mixed signal oscilloscope redefines engineers' expectations when dealing with long recording lengths through the new control function of Wave Inspector below. The Wave Inspector control function provides unprecedented efficiency in viewing, navigating, and analyzing waveform data.

Zoom/Pan - The dedicated two-tier front panel knob allows for intuitive control of zoom and pan. The internal knob adjusts the scaling factor (or scaling scale) by rotating clockwise to activate scaling and gradually increase the magnification factor; Turning counterclockwise can reduce the magnification factor and ultimately turn off the zoom function. The external knob moves the zoom box horizontally in the waveform, quickly obtaining the waveform part that the user is interested in. The external knob also uses forced feedback to determine how to quickly translate on the waveform. The more the external knob is rotated, the faster the zoom box moves. By rotating the knob in the opposite direction, the translation direction can be changed. You no longer need to navigate through multiple menus and adjust the zoom view.
Play/Pause - When searching for abnormal events or events of interest, the dedicated play/pause button on the front panel automatically scrolls the waveform in the display screen. The playback speed and direction are controlled using intuitive translation knobs. The more the knob is rotated, the faster the waveform scrolls. By rotating the knob in the opposite direction, the translation direction can be changed.
User Tag - Do you want to view the part of the waveform that interests you? Press the Set Mark button on the front panel to leave one or more bookmarks on the waveform. To navigate between different markers, simply press the Previous and Next buttons on the front panel.
Search tags - don't want to spend time examining the entire collection and finding the event you're looking for? The MSO4000 series has a robust waveform search function that can search for long-term collected data based on user-defined criteria. The search tag will highlight all events that have occurred and can be easily navigated using the Previous and Next buttons on the front panel. The search types include edge, pulse width, short pulse, logic establishment time and hold time, rise/fall time, and I2C, SPI, RS-232, and CAN packet content.
P6516 MSO Logic Probe
This unique probe design provides two 8-channel adapter clips. At the end of each channel, a new probe end design is adopted, including a hidden grounding, which simplifies the connection with the tested equipment. This trendy new probe simplifies the process of connecting the device under test. Each coaxial cable clamped on the first channel is blue in color, making it very easy to identify. The public grounding adopts an automatic push connector, which can easily establish custom grounding and connect the tested equipment. When connected to the square pin, P6516 has an adapter that connects the probe head and extends the probe ground flush with the probe end, allowing it to be connected to the head pin. P6516 provides outstanding electrical features, while its applied load is only 3pF.

What performance and feature set do you expect
The MSO4000 series digital fluorescence oscilloscope (DPO) provides the necessary performance for viewing the most demanding signals. Due to the bandwidth range of 350MHz-1GHz and the fact that all models offer at least 5x oversampling rate on all channels, as well as the standard sin (x)/x interpolation algorithm, you can rest assured that you can accurately capture and display the fastest instantaneous events. All channels are labeled with a recording length of 10M, which can capture long signal activity windows while maintaining fine timing resolution.
The MSO4000 series provides various analysis solutions, including cursor, 25 automatic measurement functions, statistics, and waveform mathematical operations. Despite its small size (only 5.4 inches thick) and lightweight (11 pounds), the 4000 series still offers outstanding performance, a 10.4-inch large XGA display, and vertical control function for each channel knob.
The TekVPITM probe interface has established a standard for ease of use in detection. The TekVPI probe has status indicator lights and control functions, and a probe menu button is located in the compensation box. This button can launch a probe menu on the oscilloscope display, which includes all relevant settings and control functions for the probe. The TekVPI interface adopts a new probe power management structure, which can directly connect current probes without requiring a separate bulky power supply. Finally, TekVPI probes can be remotely controlled through USB, GPIB, or Ethernet, providing a more versatile solution in ATE environments.
MagniVuTM
The main digital acquisition mode on the MSO4000 series can capture up to 10 M samples at 500 MS/s (2 ns resolution). In addition to the main recording, MSO4000 also offers an ultra-high resolution mode called MagniVu, which collects 10000 samples at a maximum of 16.5 GS/s (60.6 ps resolution). At each trigger, the main waveform and MagniVu waveform are collected and can be switched at any time, regardless of whether the oscilloscope is running or has stopped running. MagniVu's timing resolution is nearly 10 times higher than any other MSO on the market, providing users with unwavering confidence when measuring critical time relationships on digital waveforms.
