QBY Series Stainless Steel Pneumatic Diaphragm Pump Product Introduction:
The QBY series pneumatic diaphragm pump produced by Haitan Pump Industry is a new type of conveying machinery and a novel type of pump in China. Diaphragm pump is a type of positive displacement pump that uses compressed air as its power source. It combines the advantages of various pumps such as self-priming pump, shielded pump, impurity pump, submersible pump, etc. For various corrosive liquids, granular liquids, high viscosity, volatile, flammable, and highly toxic liquids, they can be completely extracted and absorbed.
Our factory has currently formed a series of production, with a total of eight specifications of diameters: Φ10mm(3/8'')、Φ15mm(1/2'')、Φ25mm(1'')、Φ40mm(3/2'')、Φ50mm(2'')、Φ65mm(5/2'')、Φ80mm(3'')、Φ100mm(4'')。 Three materials: aluminum alloy, cast iron, and stainless steel. Diaphragm pumps use nitrile rubber, chloroprene rubber, fluororubber, and polytetrafluoroethylene according to different liquid media. To meet the needs of different users.
This pump is widely used by domestic petroleum, chemical, electronic, ceramic, and textile system units, installed in various special occasions to pump media that cannot be pumped by conventional pumps, and has achieved satisfactory results.
QBY series stainless steel pneumatic diaphragm pump model meaning:
Main features of QBY series stainless steel pneumatic diaphragm pump:
1. No shaft seal, no leakage, spacious flow channel, so when transporting media containing particles, high viscosity (viscosity can reach 10000 centipoise), volatile and corrosive, it will not cause environmental pollution and endanger personal safety.
2. No rotating parts, good performance, allowing particle diameters up to 10mm to pass. The liquid flows without shear, and the wear of the pump's own components is minimal. It has minimal damage to the transported material and can transport sludge and living organisms such as small fish fry.
3. No need for irrigation, strong self-priming ability, suction range up to 7m, long-term dry breathing, no damage to the pump. Once overloaded, the pump will automatically shut down, and when the load returns to normal, it can automatically start running with self-protection function (electric pumps do not have this function).
4. The head of the pneumatic pump can reach 50m, the electric pump can reach 30m, and the outlet pressure can reach 0.6mpa. The head and flow rate can be infinitely adjusted through the opening of the air valve, and the air pressure can be adjusted between 1-7kgf/cm2. Electric pumps do not have this function, and imported pumps need to be equipped with regulating valves for control.
5. Pneumatic pumps can operate submerged in a medium without power supply, ensuring safety and reliability (electric pumps do not have this performance).
6. Pneumatic pumps do not require power and are more suitable for conveying media in flammable and explosive environments.

Working principle of QBY series stainless steel pneumatic diaphragm pump:
The QBY pneumatic diaphragm pump has two symmetrical working chambers, each equipped with an elastic diaphragm. The connecting rod shaft connects the two diaphragms. When compressed air enters the A working chamber through the intake joint and the distribution valve to push the diaphragm, the inlet ball valve of the chamber closes and the outlet ball valve opens, and the liquid is discharged. At the same time, the B chamber diaphragm is driven by the connecting rod shaft to discharge the back gas into the atmosphere. The outlet ball valve closes and the inlet ball valve opens, and the liquid is sucked in (see Figure A). When the journey reaches the end point and the distribution valve introduces gas into B for operation, the situation is opposite to the previous one, where B chamber discharges liquid and A chamber inhales liquid. Repeatedly, the pump continuously sucks in and discharges liquid.
Type spectrum of QBY series stainless steel pneumatic diaphragm pump:
Application examples of QBY series stainless steel pneumatic diaphragm pump:
1. Cleaning the bottom of the oil tank, although there is a cushion method for oil pumping, cannot guarantee that the oil will be completely pumped out, and there will always be at least 3-5mm thick oil layer left on the surface. Taking a 5000m3 oil tank as an example, approximately 1-1.5t of oil is lost each time. For oil tanks with low-level dehydration tanks, although the remaining oil and water can be discharged to the oily wastewater treatment plant for recycling, the volatile oil products are mostly evaporated during transportation and pollute the environment.
2. During the process of oil refining production scheduling, temporary tank dumping, loading and unloading, and oil sampling are often required for oil products. Alternatively, in order to avoid contaminating normal pipelines, connecting temporary pipelines with a diaphragm pump can quickly and conveniently accomplish this task.
3. A 3000t oil tanker is unloaded using a fixed screw pump for bottom oil recovery. At least 50t of oil should remain between the warehouse partitions. If a larger displacement diaphragm pump is used, good results can be achieved.
4. The transportation of gas and hydrogen sulfide residue at the bottom of the refinery flare requires centralized discharge and treatment of gas residue and sulfur-containing water, otherwise it will form acidic corrosion equipment.
5. Ceramic industry: Use this pump to extract glaze slurry and can be used to supply pressure to a filter press.
6. During the maintenance of drainage well pipelines, valves, and underground ditches, it is necessary to remove waterlogging and dirty oil. Although using a submersible pump can completely drain the water, these places are often far away from the power source, which is very inconvenient. If a diaphragm pump is used, a compressed gas cylinder can be used as the power source to recover dirty oil and discharge water.
7. The cleaning of sewage treatment plants and sludge tanks. The sludge tanks in sewage treatment plants often accumulate a large amount of oil sludge and silt, which need to be cleaned. Diaphragm pumps are used for flexible suction, which is convenient, labor-saving, and time-saving.
8. The liquefied gas pump room and laboratory are used to drain waterlogging. Due to the low terrain and first level fire prevention zone, using diaphragm pumps to drain waterlogging is safer and much more efficient than using water or steam pumps.
In addition, this pump has its own advantages in applications such as refining and transferring materials for cyclic acids, transporting sodium sulfite liquids for loading and unloading, and loading and unloading benzene raw materials.
