The dual channel flowmeter SITRANS FUS380 is powered by batteries or AC power. It can measure water flow in regional heating equipment, local area networks, heat source plants, heat exchange stations, refrigeration equipment, and other conventional water applications.
The SITRANS FUS380 instrument complies with the thermal measurement standards EN 1434, Level 2 and OIML R752, and the measurement parameters are not affected by operation. The certified flowmeter is named SITRANS FUE380.
The SITRANS FUS380 and SITRANS FUE380 instruments are completely identical in terms of process technology.
By combining with an energy calculator and a pair of temperature sensors, SITRANS FUE380 serves as a part of the energy meter system. For this purpose, Siemens provides the energy calculator SITRANS FUE950.

The dual channel design of SITRANS FUS380 ensures maximum measurement accuracy even under insufficient inlet straight pipe conditions. The flowmeter consists of a flow sensor pipeline, 4 transducers/transducer cables, and a signal converter SITRANS FUS080.
Optional integrated or split installation, with a distance of up to 30 meters between the flowmeter and signal converter. When ordering an integrated instrument, the transducer cable is installed properly and ready to use.
The maximum applicable temperature for integrated installation is 120 ° C. The sensor must be isolated to prevent the signal converter from being heated. The signal converter complies with IP67/NEMA 4X/6 protection level.
