1、 Project Overview
In the past, many chemical companies dumped the sludge after belt filtration outside the factory, polluting the surrounding environment. Now, the country has explicitly prohibited the dumping of sludge. Therefore, companies need to dry and burn the sludge themselves or use it to make bricks for building materials factories. Therefore, sludge drying will become a highly promising engineering project in the future. 2、 Equipment Overview
The sludge special dryer produced by our company is a low-speed mixing dryer that is equipped with hollow stirring blades inside the equipment, and a heat carrier is passed through the blades to allow the sludge to fully contact the hot surface of the blades and dry the sludge. This device can indirectly heat or cool paste, granular, powdered, and slurry materials, and can complete unit operations such as drying, cooling, heating, sterilization, reaction, and low-temperature calcination. The special wedge-shaped stirring heat transfer blade in the equipment has high heat transfer efficiency and self-cleaning function of the heat transfer surface.
3、 Equipment principle
Wedge shaped hollow blades are densely arranged on the hollow shaft, and the heat medium flows through the blades through the hollow shaft. The heat transfer area within a unit effective volume is large, and the temperature of the heat medium ranges from 40 ℃ to 320 ℃, which can be steam, hot water, or thermal oil. The heat transfer medium flows through the shell jacket and hollow stirring shaft through the rotary joint. The hollow stirring shaft has different internal structures according to the type of heat medium to ensure the best heat transfer effect.
At the same time as steam heating is introduced into the blades and jacket, heated dry air is also introduced into the upper part of the discharge port for further drying, greatly increasing the drying intensity of the equipment. The evaporated moisture is carried out of the dryer by the exhaust gas, filtered by a bag filter, and the dried fine powder is recovered. The humid air is discharged outdoors by the induced draft fan after being dedusted by water.
4、 Equipment features
① The energy consumption of the blade dryer is low: due to indirect heating, it does not carry a large amount of air to take away heat. The outer wall of the dryer is also equipped with an insulation layer, which requires 1.2KG of steam to evaporate 1KG of water for slurry materials.
② The cost of the blade dryer system is low: it has a huge heat transfer surface per unit effective volume, which shortens processing time and reduces equipment size. This greatly reduces the building area and space.
③ Wide range of material processing: using different media, it can handle both thermosensitive materials and high-temperature processed materials. Common media include: steam, thermal oil, hot water, cooling water, etc. It can operate continuously or intermittently and can be applied in many fields.
④ Low environmental pollution: carrying very little air and carrying very little dust material. For materials that are contaminated or require solvent recovery, closed-loop circulation can be used.
⑤ Low operating costs: The device operates normally with only 1 person per day. Low speed stirring and reasonable structure. The wear and tear is small, and the maintenance cost is very low.
⑥ Stable operation: Due to the special compression expansion stirring effect of the wedge-shaped blade, the particle composition of the material comes into contact with the heat transfer surface. In the axial range, the temperature, humidity, and mixing temperature gradient of the material are very small, thereby ensuring the stability of the process.
