SAN-6224NET
Strain Collection Based on Ethernet
Overview
SAN-6000NET is an Ethernet based strain acquisition system with easy-to-use operating software. It is easy to operate and has powerful functions. SAN-6224NET integrates signal conditioning functions and adopts a modular design, making the system expandable. It uses Ethernet connection, and the module can be directly connected to a computer or remotely configured. The module can input voltage and strain signals.
Each SAN-6000NET comes with Encore measurement software. The measurement software has advanced features, including user set display data, powerful analysis capabilities, and detailed reporting capabilities.
Directly connect strain input
The SAN-6224NET is equipped with 12 analog input channels, capable of measuring full, half, or quarter bridge sensors. These 12 analog channels each have a 24 bit ADC and input amplifier, and all 12 channels can be collected simultaneously. The SAN-6224NET also includes an anti aliasing filter. All input signals for strain are connected through a 12 RJ50 connector installed in front of the module.
SAN-6224NET can directly connect strain gauge inputs, including half bridge and full bridge sensors. When using an external resistor, a quarter bridge sensor can also be supported.SAN-6224NET can also be used for software programming. The excitation voltage, automatic zeroing, and bridge calibration can be adjusted through software to eliminate errors and drift caused by manual adjustment. The excitation voltage can be set to 2.5V, 3.3V, 5V, or 10V through software configuration,For excitation voltage values that are not within the range, an external power source can also be used, with dedicated connectors provided for easy connection to the external power source as the excitation voltage source.

Bridge box

CN-268 is an RJ50 to 12 pin screw terminal splitter connector module. CN-269 and CN-270 provide complete internal bridge resistors that can be used for quarter bridge connections
The SAN-6224NET has 12 strain input channels, and strain signals are input through 12 RJ50 front panel connectors. Users can specify the 12 connector modules included in the SAN-6224NET system as needed.
Full bridge and half bridge configurations
The SAN-6224NET supports full bridge and half bridge configurations, and users can connect to the RJ50 connector on the front panel or use the 12 pin CN-268 screw terminal pin connector module for connection.
Quarter bridge configuration
CN-269 and CN-270 are built-in bridge resistors with 120 ohms and 350 ohms, respectively, used for quarter bridge connections. CN-269 and CN-270 are equipped with RJ50 female connectors with one end being a screw to connect to other connectors. Each channel must be configured with a module.
Digital I/O
SAN-6224NET includes 8 digital I/O wires. All eight wires are accessed through the 9-pin DSUB male interface connector located on the rear panel of the device. Each digital I/O bit can be individually programmed for input or output.
trigger
SAN-6224NET supports multiple triggering modes and provides programmable analog and digital triggering modes for initiating data collection. In all triggering modes, the number of scans and sampling rate depend on the amount of pre trigger and post trigger data, and these parameters can be pre-set through software before collection.
System power connection
The SAN-6224NET can be powered by 19V to 30V DC or through the included TR-60U AC power adapter.
Characteristics of Ethernet
The SAN-6224NET series transmits collected data to a computer via 10/100M Ethernet, and the collected data is saved in the computer's memory or hard drive. The computer and SAN-6224NET are connected through the most common and highest dedicated performance Ethernet network point-to-point. With the widespread application of Ethernet, any number of SAN-6224NETs can be connected to the network.
