Remote valve controlled direct reading water meter is an addition of valve control device on the basis of passive direct reading water meter, achieving the purpose of remote meter reading and automatic control of water use. This product mainly consists of a case, impeller measuring mechanism, dial indicating mechanism, intelligent control module, valve body, and other parts.

The control of the valve is carried out by sending instructions from the upper computer or handheld device through the microcontroller control part of the water meter to control the on/off valve. The water meter can be remotely operated by the on/off valve at the set measurement value or appropriate time. The watch itself does not require a battery and is controlled by external power supply, avoiding the problem of battery replacement like a card watch.

The meter reading methods can be divided into three types: networking, manual reading, and GPRS. According to different meter reading methods, water meter valves have different self maintenance functions to prevent valve scaling from affecting the normal operation of the water meter.
