Principle of titration colorimetric method (Jensprima online water hardness analyzer from the UK)
Determine the total hardness concentration of calcium and magnesium in the sample by titration colorimetry. The instrument measurement tank automatically quantifies samples, and hardness reagents are added to the measurement tank through a precision metering pump for reagent titration. Each drop is 30 microliters, and the titration is very accurate. The hardness reagent will react with the sample and the solution will change color. An optical sensor is used to detect the intensity of the color and determine the endpoint of the color change. The total hardness concentration can be determined based on the amount of reagent consumed.

Fully automatic measurement
