Oxygen/Nitrogen Analyzer ELEMENTRAC ON-p 2
The new ELEMENTRACONH-p2 generation is a powerful elemental analyzer
Product details

The new ELEMENTRAC ONH-p 2nd generation is a powerful elemental analyzer. Used to measure the content of oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen elements in inorganic samples such as steel, copper, titanium, alloys, ceramics, etc. High sensitivity non dispersive infrared detectors and thermal conductivity detectors can detect element contents ranging from extremely low ppm to high percentage, providing reliable results. The innovative injection system features pulse degassing and vertical injection design, making it easy to analyze rod-shaped, granular, and powdered samples with analysis weights up to 2g. The ELEMENTRAC ON-p 2 elemental analyzer meets or exceeds the requirements of all relevant international standards, such as ASTM E 1019 or DIN EN 3976.

Oxygen/Nitrogen Analyzer ELEMENTRAC ON-p 2

Reliable analysis of ON elements in inorganic samples, such as steel, non-ferrous metals, ceramics, slag, ores, etc.

Operation and Analysis Process of Oxygen/Nitrogen Analyzer ELEMENTRAC ON-p 2

Step 1: Enter the sample information into the Elements software

The sample name is entered into the software, and the weight information will be automatically transferred to the software (see step 2)

Step 2: Weigh and put the sample into the injection port

ELEMENTRAC ON-p 2 can safely and accurately analyze samples ranging from a few milligrams to 2 grams. Can directly analyze rod-shaped or granular samples. For elemental analysis of powder samples, nickel capsules can be analyzed directly without sealing.

Step 3: Analysis

Then place the empty graphite crucible on the lower electrode and click on 'Start' using the Elements software to perform elemental analysis. The software will control all subsequent analysis steps.

Step 4: Output data

From 120 to 180 seconds after the analysis begins, the detected content can be reported or exported through LIMS

Oxygen/Nitrogen Analyzer ELEMENTRAC ON-p 2 Configuration

The ELEMENTRAC ON-p 2 elemental analyzer can be used as a single element analyzer for measuring oxygen or nitrogen separately, or as a multi-element analyzer for measuring ON. Oxygen is measured in the form of carbon dioxide in up to two infrared detectors, while nitrogen is measured in elemental form in a thermal conductivity detector.

Oxygen/Nitrogen Analyzer ELEMENTRAC ON-p 2 One Stop Standard Solution

The purification tube and filtration device required for the operation of the elemental analyzer are installed on the front of the panel and can be hidden behind a detachable door during daily operation. This arrangement greatly reduces the time required for maintenance and increases the user experience. In addition, innovative details greatly improve the repeatability of measurements.

Innovative sample inlet&pulse degassing sample chamber

The new ON-p2 elemental analyzer has a convenient sample inlet operation and ensures repeatability. For substances of different shapes such as solid fragments, particles, or powders packed in nickel capsules, the analysis weight can reach 2000mg. The air around the sample is quickly blown out of the sample port through pulse degassing. Then vertically drop it into the preheated graphite crucible for analysis.

☆ Strong prevention of dust accumulation

☆ No longer require sealed nickel capsules

☆ Can directly analyze particle samples weighing up to 2000mg

☆ Easy to maintain and durable

Powerful catalyst

When conducting elemental analysis in a graphite crucible, carbon monoxide (CO) is produced, which is converted into carbon dioxide (CO2) under the action of a catalyst and subsequently detected in an infrared detector. The easy to maintain copper oxide catalyst ensures complete oxidation, so even complex materials such as oxides can obtain reliable oxygen content analysis results.

Closed gas management

The ELEMENTRAC ONH element analyzer series uses a closed gas system under high pressure to ensure that the released sample gas can be 100% sent to the detector, ensuring good sensitivity and reproducibility.

Oxygen/Nitrogen Analyzer ELEMENTRAC ON-p 2 Optional

In addition to the comprehensive solution of ELEMENTRAC ON-p2, it also provides more options for improving efficiency and expanding the application range of elemental analyzers.

Automatic cleaning device

Melting the sample in a graphite crucible at temperatures up to 3000 ° C can cause carbon deposition in the upper electrode and furnace, which will have a negative impact on the repeatability of ONH testing. The new optional automatic cleaning instrument can reliably remove these carbon deposits and achieve accurate elemental analysis even under high-throughput conditions. In addition, the elemental analyzer also has efficient gas calibration function and carrier gas pre cleaning function in furnace cleaning.

Software Elements

The comprehensive element analysis software based on Windows is an essential component of all element generation element analyzers. The central window (analysis and results) is the starting point for all the functions required for daily work. From here, analyzed samples can be grouped and exported, or new samples can be registered and analyzed. Users can call various dependent functions, such as application settings, calibration, diagnosis, or status.

Oxygen/Nitrogen Analyzer ELEMENTRAC ON-p 2 Typical Sample Materials

Principle of operation of ELEMENTRAC ON-p 2 oxygen/nitrogen analyzer

The ELEMENTRAC ON-p 2 elemental analyzer has a wide measurement range. When analyzing the sample, weigh it and place it into the sample port. Degassing with carrier gas can prevent atmospheric gases (oxygen and nitrogen) from entering the furnace. The graphite crucible is degassed in the pulse furnace of the analyzer to reduce possible contamination (such as residual hydrogen). After the instrument stabilizes, put the sample into the crucible and melt it. Carbon monoxide is produced by the reaction between carbon in a graphite crucible and oxygen in the material. Nitrogen and hydrogen are released in elemental form. The carrier gas (helium) and sample gas pass through a filter, and then pass through a copper oxide catalyst to convert CO into CO2Infrared detectors determine oxygen content by measuring carbon dioxide content. Remove carbon dioxide and water using chemical methods, and measure nitrogen content in a thermal conductivity detector. As an alternative, economical argon gas can also be used in elemental analyzers to determine the content of oxygen and nitrogen.
