Design of MSSB
Medical personnel (HCW) take samples in a positive pressure room (+15pa) environment to protect the safety of operators.
PUI personnel undergo throat swab sampling in a negative pressure environment (-10 to -20 Pa).
The air curtain above the glove opening provides a protective barrier, maximizing the protection of medical staff from droplet nuclei and aerosols.
The interior of the sampling room is disinfected using UV-C ultraviolet lamps.
The sampling room is made of polycarbonate material that can absorb ultraviolet rays, which can effectively block ultraviolet rays.
Provide 3 power sockets for outdoor use in the sampling room, which can provide power to the following devices, such as:
Portable air conditioning or heating devices to ensure that medical staff work in a suitable environment and climate.
Electronic medical records and hospital information system equipment
Label Printer
Scanner
Portable refrigerator for storing VTM and swabs
The size of the rooms where PUI and HCW are located is 1.2m x 1m, and the total area occupied is 1.2 x 2m
The main structural material adopts 304 stainless steel frame and plastic polycarbonate panel, which is convenient for cleaning and disinfection.

1. PUI enters the sampling room>2 (Optional) Disinfect PUI and HCW spray>3 HCW consultation and throat swab sampling>4 (Optional) Disinfect PUI and HCW spray>5 PUI leaves the sampling room>6 Aerial sampling room spray disinfection
If necessary, additional purification steps can be taken: HCW wearing PPE can manually clean the PUI sampling room using a BioAtom gun or BioVap carrying case and wipe all surfaces (requiring an additional 7 minutes).
