Passive marker point measurement module Marker Tracking
Integrated Discrete Marker Tracking and Measurement Function
Vic-3D can now track discrete landmark points (in circular or bow form) in three-dimensional space. Compared to manual measurement, this feature can save a lot of time. It can also accurately measure the motion towards or away from the camera's optical axis, obtaining 3D motion information of landmark points in space.
Vic-3D now includes the ability to track discrete markers (circular or bow-tie format) in three dimensions. This feature provides considerable time savings compared to manual measurements. It also permits accurate measurements of movements toward or away from the camera pair.
Due to the fact that Vic-3D can also be used to measure surface strain, it provides universality that conventional marker point tracking software cannot achieve, and Vic-3D also includes many powerful data extraction and visualization tools.
Because it can also be used for measuring surface strains, Vic-3D provides a level of versatility not possible with conventional marker-tracking software. Vic-3D also includes numerous powerful data extraction and visualization tools.
In Vic-3D software, the landmark function can also be applied to the precise coordinate system alignment between CAD models or finite element models and external reference frames.
Markers can also be used for precise coordinate system alignment with external frames of reference in CAD models or FE models.
