The Photonis MCP-PMT solution is highly suitable for high-speed single photon counting applications. Our MCP-PMT has a low dark count rate, very high B-field immunity, and excellent photon detection capability. You can order customized detectors based on your chosen photocathode, including Hi QE options. Other options include power supply or camera. Photonis integrates two fast photon timing detection technologies (photomultiplier tube and microchannel plate) into one sensor.
Choose 8 or 18 mm MCP and your chosen photocathode combined with a single anode. MCP-PMT is equipped with a single high-voltage connector and SMA signal output, making it easy to install. The optional micro USB power supply will help you quickly start the experiment.
MCP-MPT for LiDAR applications
Photonis' MCP-PMT, with its high linearity, can achieve detection from single photon to several GHz in photon burst mode, and from 100 MHz under continuous illumination. In addition to extremely low dark rates, the new detector also has a dynamic range of 8 orders of magnitude. MCP-MPT photon detector
Photons MCP-PMT combines photomultiplier tubes with microchannel plates to form a fast timing detector, making it an ideal choice for single photon counting applications. We offer a range of customization options, including your chosen photocathode, timing, and output. Our MCP configuration can be ordered with dual Chevron or triple Z-stack configuration for additional gain. MCP-PMT is highly suitable for fluorescence imaging, Cherenkov imaging, and high-energy physics research.
Photonis also produces Planacon, a square MCP-PMT that can be tiled together to obtain larger images. Micro Planacons can also be used for medical imaging applications, such as PET scanning.
