Working principle: When the air in the pipeline cools down, condensation begins to occur, and liquid water flows along the pipeline. Once it flows into the La Man dryer/filter, a series of phenomena will occur. Firstly, the condensation effect, where the condenser or first stage filter element (stainless steel mesh) causes water and air to change direction. This change causes various water droplets to combine with each other and gather in the condenser. The water droplets gradually grow larger and combine with other larger pollutants to flow into the central area of the reservoir under the action of gravity. Water containing pollutants flows along the bottom and is discharged through the automatic drainage valve in the drainage pool; A large amount of water (estimated to be 95% of water) is discharged through this process. The second filtration process passes through the second filter element - cotton fiber mesh. Change the direction of the airflow in or near the cotton fiber rope and rotate the airflow. This cotton fiber rope is supported by a stainless steel mesh, forming a vortex. At this moment, the air is accelerated dozens of times, and the center of the vortex becomes a vacuum like a tornado. So, the water droplets that were not removed by the first filter are vaporized into gas that has no adverse effects on the machine. And tiny impure oil droplets are also removed here.
Due to this principle, dry and clean compressed air free of impurities, oil droplets, and water droplets can be obtained, protecting pneumatic machines and preventing freezing.
The La Man automatic drain valve works in the cold winter (minus 30 degrees Celsius), and the plug valve is opened to release water droplets after work, thereby preventing freezing in cold areas. Manual drainage is to ensure that there is no freezing phenomenon when starting up in the morning, and it is usually not necessary.
