1、 Overview of KH-XLB flow limiting orifice plate/Type of flow restriction orifice plate

2、 Measurement principle of KH-XLB current limiting orifice plate

The fluid passing through the orifice plate will generate a pressure drop, and the flow rate through the orifice plate will increase with the increase of pressure drop. But when the pressure drop exceeds a certain value, that is, exceeds the critical pressure drop, regardless of how the outlet pressure decreases, the flow rate will maintain a certain value and no longer increase. The flow restriction orifice plate is used based on this principle to limit the flow rate of fluid or reduce the pressure of fluid.
The flow restriction orifice plate is divided into single orifice plate and porous plate according to the number of openings on the orifice plate; It can be divided into single-stage and multi-stage according to the number of orifice plates.

1. In situations where process materials require pressure reduction.

2. When a large pressure drop is required upstream and downstream of the valve in the pipeline, in order to reduce the erosion of the valve by the fluid, an orifice plate can be connected in series upstream of the valve when throttling through the orifice plate will not produce gas phase.

3. Places where fluids require low flow and continuous flow, such as pump flushing pipelines, bypass pipelines for hot standby pumps (low flow protection pipelines), analysis sampling pipelines, etc.

4. Places that require pressure reduction to reduce noise or wear, such as venting systems.
