Folding cardboard box production process
Design determines the final effect of a product
Design is particularly important for cardboard products, otherwise it will be difficult to meet customer requirements and there may be returns, causing significant losses to the enterprise.
I think the marketing department should pass on all customer information to the process design department after receiving the order. This includes decoration requirements for the layout, specifications and dimensions, box structure, interior contents and weight, stacking layers, and other related content. After being designed by the design department, it can be transmitted to the manufacturing department to complete the implementation of the product.
1) Calculate the maximum stacking load Ps that the lower cardboard box can withstand
Namely Ps=(Nmax-1) · G, where Nmax is the number of large stacking layers and G is the weight of the contents and box.
2) Select an appropriate safety factor K
According to SN/T0262-93 export transportation packagingCorrugated boxAccording to the inspection regulations, when the storage period is less than 30 days, K=1.6; When the storage period is between 30 and 100 days, K=1.65; When the storage period exceeds 100 days, K=2。
Of course, for safety reasons, the safety factor is usually set at 3 or above. However, if the safety factor is too high, the various indices of raw materials will be relatively high, and the price of paper will significantly increase, resulting in increased costs and unfavorable market development. If the safety factor is selected too high, there may be an excess of quality, and if the factor is too low, it may cause quality problems such as box collapse. So, it is necessary to select an appropriate safety factor based on the actual requirements of the customer.
3) Calculate the required high compressive strength value P based on the safety factor
That is, P=K · Ps
4) According to the Kelicutt formula, choose the appropriate combination of paper to match
That is, Px · F=P (calculated)
So Px=P/F, where F is a constant related to the perimeter length and corrugated type of the cardboard box, obtained by looking up the table. Px is the comprehensive ring compression strength value of corrugated cardboard, Px=(R1+R2+Rm1C)/15.2
If the ring compression index and gram weight of any one or two materials R1, R2, Rm1C are known, the ring compression index and gram weight of the third material can be calculated to achieve the goal of reasonable paper matching.
Effective process control is the guarantee for product realization
Whether the products designed by the process technology department can be well implemented depends on the strict adherence to standards in each process. So requiring the team leaders of each process to supervise the product quality of this process in a timely manner is the guarantee of product quality.
In addition, quality supervisors should conduct regular inspections to promptly correct and handle any violations of the process, in order to ensure strict implementation of the process.
