Insulation resistance meter (megohmmeter) is a national mandatory verification measuring instrument, which is divided into direct acting analog indication insulation resistance meter (megohmmeter) and electronic insulation resistance meter according to the DC power supply device. The verification regulation for insulation resistance directly acting on analog indication is JJG622-1997 Verification Regulation for Insulation Resistance Meter (Megohmmeter). The verification regulation for electronic insulation resistance meters is JJG1005-2005 Verification Regulation for Electronic Insulation Resistance Meters. The main standard instruments for the calibration devices specified in the two regulations are high-voltage high resistance boxes and high-voltage voltmeters.

This device includes a high-voltage high resistance box (high resistance output part) and a DC high-voltage digital voltmeter (voltage input part), which can simultaneously meet the requirements of JJG622-1997 and JJG1005-2005. The measurement range of the high-voltage high resistance box is 100 Ω to 1T Ω. The working voltage is 5kV and the accuracy level is 0.1. The device is designed with independent leakage shielding terminals, and there is no obvious instability, short circuit, or open circuit phenomenon during the measurement process. The measurement range of the DC high-voltage digital voltmeter is 0-5kV. The accuracy level is 1.0. Capable of measuring the open circuit voltage, median voltage, drop voltage, and peak voltage of an insulation resistance meter.

5. Insulation resistance:
The insulation resistance between the circuit of the resistor output part in the verification device and any other external metal without electrical connection to the circuit shall be measured at a nominal voltage with a resistance value of not less than 1T Ω.
6. Insulation strength:
The circuit of the resistor output part in the verification device should be able to withstand an actual sine AC voltage of 11kV with a frequency of 45-65Hz for 1 minute between the test reference grounding point, without breakdown or arcing.
7. The residual resistance at the output terminal of the resistance output part in the verification device should be less than 0.1 Ω, and its variation should be less than 0.01 Ω. (The test results should not include the resistance of the connecting wires during testing)
