Structural characteristics of screw conveyor
1. The connection between the spiral shaft and the suspension bearing, as well as the head and tail shafts, adopts an embedded tongue type, which does not require axial movement for installation and disassembly, making maintenance convenient Core shaft length, few hanging points, and few fault points
2. Adopting a variable diameter structure, increasing the volume of the suspension bearing, avoiding contact between the suspension bearing and the material, the service life of the suspension bearing can reach more than two years.
3. Each transmission part adopts a floating connection method, and the suspension bearing is a universal joint structure, which forms a whole rotating floating body with the spiral body, suspension bearing, and tail assembly. It can freely rotate and avoid obstruction within the range according to the conveying resistance, without jamming or blocking materials.
4. The head and tail bearing seats are both located outside the shell, and all bearings adopt multi-layer sealing and cooperative sealing technology, resulting in a long service life of the bearings.
Composition of Spiral Conveyor
A screw conveyor usually consists of three main parts: the screw conveyor body, the inlet and outlet device, and the driving device. The main body of the screw machine consists of three parts: the head section, the middle section, and the tail section.
In general, during the factory assembly, the middle sections of the screw conveyor are arranged in order of length. The longer middle section is close to the head section, while the middle sections of the same length are adjacent to each other. If there are requirements, the arrangement order should be given when ordering. A thrust bearing is installed in the head section of the screw conveyor to withstand axial force, and bearings are installed in the middle and tail sections to support the screw shaft. In addition, an axially movable radial bearing is also installed in the tail section of the screw conveyor to compensate for the length error of the screw shaft and adapt to temperature changes.
