The GDS system is an alarm system developed in accordance with the requirements of the Fire Protection Design Code for Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering. The system consists of monitoring software, network system, control device, gas detector, and power module accessories. The detection system is formed through the computer human-machine interface from the network system to the control center. The computer can achieve monitoring, alarm, configuration, calibration, and maintenance. The GDS system is implemented using a "gas alarm+programmable logic controller (central control G3 PLC)" approach. The GDS system is centered around a programmable logic controller (PLC). The GDS system adopts a centralized architecture, with control devices and remote I/O units placed in the central control room. The on-site distributed equipment communicates with the PLC in the form of analog signals. The GDS system can output RS485 signals or communicate with the upper computer, DCS system, etc. using customer specified communication methods for data communication.
