1、 Product Introduction:
A water meter in which the counter is not immersed in water, the sensor is structurally isolated from the chamber of the counter, and the glass of the water meter is not subjected to water pressure. The transmission between the sensor and the counter is generally made of magnetic steel. This type of water meter is installed horizontally and can be used for measuring and charging water for residential and enterprise use. It is an ideal measuring and charging instrument for modern management of water supply management departments such as water companies and property management companies.

The major difference between dry water meters and wet water meters lies in the measuring mechanism. The impeller is separated from the central gear, and the upper end of the impeller is coupled with the magnetic element (magnetic ring or cylindrical magnet) at the lower end of the central gear. When the water flow drives the impeller to rotate, the magnetic element at the upper end of the impeller attracts or repels the magnetic element at the lower end of the central gear, driving the central gear to rotate synchronously, and the central transmission counter records the amount of water flowing through the water meter.
1. Magnetic components of dry water meters
The commonly used magnetic materials for dry water meters include ferrite and neodymium iron boron. The structural shapes of magnetic components generally include ring-shaped magnetic steel, columnar magnetic steel, ring-shaped magnetic steel, and "gate" shaped silicon steel sheets.
2. Gear box of dry water meter
The counting mechanism of a dry water meter relies on a gearbox to isolate it from the water being measured, so the bottom and surroundings of the gearbox must be able to withstand a pressure test of 2 MPa without deformation. Therefore, when designing a dry water meter, in addition to adding more than ten reinforcing ribs at the top and bottom of the gearbox, metal bowl shaped liners are often lined at the bottom and inner walls of the gearbox to prevent deformation under pressure.

1. Prepaid function: collect water fees in advance, close the valve and cut off water when the water runs out
2. Alarm function: power undervoltage alarm, insufficient margin alarm
3. Hoarding limit function: can effectively prevent users from maliciously hoarding water
4. Credit function: With zero crossing water credit function
5. Check function: can check the monthly usage of the past 12 months
6. Abnormal detection function: If there is strong magnetic field interference with the measurement signal or other abnormal situations, the meter will automatically record them
7. Valve maintenance function: To avoid scaling caused by prolonged inactivity of the valve, which can affect normal opening and closing, the valve should be activated regularly
8. One card function: It can realize one card for water, electricity, and gas meters
