FreeZone ® The fully automatic box capping system is developed by LabConco in the United States specifically for laboratory pharmaceutical research and development, large-scale sample freeze-drying or batch freeze-drying of cultured cells, as well as users with vacuum capping of penicillin/serum bottles.

Main features:

• Vertical stainless steel cold trap, epoxy coating&steel casing;

• The process of pre freezing to freeze-drying can be fully automated or manually completed by capping the box;

• The sample can be directly pre cooled in the freeze-drying chamber, and various serum/penicillin bottles can be used;

• 2 LED indicator lights: one indicating switch/standby, and the other indicating sample processing;

• 3-layer sample partition, controllable temperature and adjustable height, each layer has an area size of 41.9 cm × 30.5 cm, and the total area of the three layers can reach 0.38 m2. It is suitable for large-scale sample freeze-drying or batch freeze-drying such as pharmaceuticals and cell culture;

• The shelf can cover sample bottles ranging from 38 mm to 196 mm in height;

• Each layer is equipped with temperature probes to detect the real-time temperature of the sample;

• Pirani vacuum sensor;

• A 1 horsepower fluorine free refrigeration system and a 1000 W heater efficiently achieve cooling and heating. The temperature range of the shelf is from -40 ℃ to+40 ℃, controlled by a microprocessor, and the temperature setting is accurate to ± 1 ℃;

• Perform automatic capping in the presence of protective gas;

• Pneumatic pressure cover, no need for external air compressor;

• Programmable temperature control, capable of storing up to 30 programs, each program can set up to 16 temperature gradients, and each gradient can be individually set for sample temperature, heating and cooling rate, holding time, and more;

• The interface can display the system operation program, including: manual/program mode, probe temperature (℃ or ℉), vacuum degree (mBar, Pa or Torr), program segment progress, remaining time of the current time period, power outage alarm, system temperature change>± 2 ℃, and program completion, etc;

• Data recording and storage. Real time data storage in the form of tables or charts, and data transmission via USB or Ethernet;

• Suitable for FreeZone 6 L, 12 L, or 18 L freeze dryers.

Optional accessories:

• Six valve multi manifold bracket, including six freeze-drying valves;

• Isolation valve, measure the drying endpoint of the sample inside the box.
