It is a speed type instrument that has the advantages of high accuracy, good repeatability, simple structure, high pressure resistance, wide measurement range, small volume, light weight, low pressure loss, long service life, simple operation, and easy maintenance. It is used to measure the volume flow rate and accumulation of low viscosity, non corrosive, and clean liquids in closed pipelines. It can be widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, organic liquids, inorganic liquids, liquefied gas, urban gas pipelines, pharmaceuticals, food, and papermaking.
Common Categories
1. Axial type, where the center of the impeller shaft coincides with the pipeline axis, is the main product of turbine flow meters.
2. Tangential type, the impeller shaft is perpendicular to the pipeline axis, and the angle of attack of the fluid flow towards the blade plane is about 90 degrees. It is suitable for small caliber micro flow measurement and is also used for large caliber flow measurement with an inserted tangential type.
3. Mechanical type, the rotation of the impeller directly or through magnetic coupling drives the mechanical counting mechanism, indicating the total accumulated amount. The measurement accuracy is slightly lower than that of sensors for electrical signal detection, and it is integrated.
4. Underground specific type, suitable for underground operations in oil extraction, measuring media such as mud and oil and gas flow, limited in volume, requiring resistance to high pressure, high temperature, and fluid impact.
5. Self correcting twin turbine type, can be used for measuring the flow rate of natural gas and other gases. The sensor consists of a main and auxiliary twin impeller, which can automatically correct the changes in flow characteristics based on the speed difference between the two impellers.
