Since20yearFormer GermanyBESTMANAfter the company developed its first artificial floating bed, countries and regions represented by Japan successfully applied artificial floating beds to the pollution control and ecological restoration of surface water bodies. In recent years, the development and application of artificial floating bed technology in China have been in a period of rapid growth. The application results indicate that in the restoration process of severely eutrophic water bodies, the use of artificial floating beds as a pioneering technology can enable some aquatic animals to recover naturally or with artificial assistance.
There are various types of ecological floating beds, which are usually divided into three categories based on their functions: wave dissipating, water purification, and habitat providing. The appearance of floating beds includes various shapes such as square, triangle, rectangle, and circle. Utilizing ecological floating beds(ecological floating bed)Technology is based on aquatic plants as the main body, utilizing the principles of soilless cultivation techniques, using polymer materials as carriers and substrates, applying the principles of species symbiosis and fully utilizing the spatial and nutritional niches of water bodies to establish efficient artificial ecosystems and reduce pollution loads in water bodies. Its biggest advantage is the direct utilization of water surface area without occupying additional land.
