Product Overview:
Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD)5)Refers to the amount of dissolved oxygen consumed by microorganisms during the biochemical process of decomposing certain oxidizable substances, especially organic matter, present in water under specified conditions. It is a common indicator used in environmental laboratories to measure the organic content in water.
Measure the oxygen utilization efficiency of a sample during the biodegradation of organic matter at a specific cultivation stage and temperature. Currently, it is generally stipulated at home and abroad to cultivate at 20 ℃± 1 ℃ for 5 days. Measure the dissolved oxygen before and after the sample cultivation, and the difference between the two is the BOD5 value, expressed in milligrams per liter of oxygen.
The EasyPREP BOD-200 biochemical oxygen demand analyzer from Canada can provide users with BOD and cBOD analysis, replacing repeated manual BOD testing, and can be equipped with optical or membrane probes. Complies with HJ505-2009, ISO5815-1, and EPA415.1 method standards. Suitable for any medium-sized environmental laboratory. After the instrument upgrade, it can achieve automatic opening and closing functions, with a higher degree of automation.
