1、 Overview:
The double helix sludge press dewatering machine is a new product independently developed by our company. This equipment has the characteristics of small footprint, small power consumption, high production capacity, and low sludge moisture content. The equipment requires a moisture content of 85% -70% for the incoming mud. Generally used in equipment such as belt sludge filter presses, horizontal screw centrifuges, and laminated sludge dewatering machines for initial dewatering and concentration, with a moisture content in the range of 80-70%. After conditioning, it enters the double helix sludge press dewatering machine for forced squeezing and deep dewatering, and the extruded sludge has a moisture content between 50% and 60%. Deep dewatering of sludge can greatly reduce transportation costs, reception and disposal costs, shorten drying and dewatering time, and lower drying and processing costs.
2、 Working principle:
The working principle is achieved by the relative torque force generated by the relative motion of a set of forward and reverse spiral rollers to achieve forced pressing and dehydration of materials, just like how we twist clothes with two hands. One pushes forward, the other pushes backward, and the raw materials continuously enter, forming a high concentration extrusion dehydration in the middle screen area. Spiral reduces the operating space of materials according to a certain compression ratio. After passing through the reverse spiral, the material enters the material plug pressure zone again. As the discharge port is blocked by a tapered pressure stop valve, the sludge is forcibly pushed out of the dewatering zone, so the sludge undergoes further dewatering process here. The pressure of the taper thrust valve can be adjusted, so it can effectively control the moisture content of the sludge.
