Our company has conducted in-depth research and long-term practice on the principle of line monitoring, and developed a domestically leading fault indicator. This product monitors the operation status of overhead power lines online, including grounding faults, short-circuit faults, and line loads, and sends the collected characteristic information to the system main station. The system software performs data analysis, alarm display, fault statistics retrieval and query to obtain line operation data and fault information, realizing the functions of fast and accurate positioning of short circuit and grounding faults and load monitoring, providing a basis for load allocation of the line, accelerating fault elimination speed, shortening power outage time, reducing power outage losses, and improving the automation and informatization level of operations.
The fault indicator uses card wires and coils to induce overhead line current and electric field signals, and collects and processes these signals through low-power microcontrollers to complete line load current calculation, short circuit, and grounding (optional) fault detection. It also uses a built-in remote low-power small wireless module to achieve local wireless networking or directly collect fault indicator information from communication terminals and upload it to the monitoring center.

Short circuit criterion: adaptive algorithm, automatically tracks load current without setting action parameters; The overcurrent cutoff method is used to set overcurrent and speed determination values in conjunction with the substation setting parameters.
Grounding criterion: Passive method is used to detect grounding faults, while active injection method is compatible to detect grounding faults, ensuring accurate grounding fault detection.
