ERWEKA VDT/S is a packaging leak tester used for bubble caps and other vacuum forms. VDT has a compact size and is an ideal choice for quality control during packaging and filling/filling processes. The ERWEKA VDT/S consists of two interconnected units: a main control unit with a built-in vacuum pump and a vacuum dryer (available in different sizes of 150, 200, 250, or 300 millimeters in diameter).
Fill a sufficient amount of colored dye solution in the dryer and place the blister in the vacuum dryer. When vacuum is applied, any leaking bubble chamber is evacuated; After releasing the vacuum, the process will reverse and the dye solution will be sucked into any defective blister cavity, which can be immediately identified during visual inspection.
This instrument fully complies with the safety requirements of DIN EN 61010 for electronic measurement, control, regulator, and laboratory equipment.
