1、 Working principle
A star shaped unloader, also known as a rotary feeder or a damper, is a rotor with several blades that rotates inside a cylindrical casing. The material that falls from the upper hopper is filled in the spaces between the blades and discharged as the blades rotate.
2、 Performance advantages and features
1. This product has high processing accuracy and air locking function. It can be used as a powder quantitative feeder for crushing and grading systems, as well as an unloader for separation, dust collection and other systems, or for pressure feeding and suction pneumatic conveying systems.
2. Equipped with a pressure balancing device, it can be used in positive and negative pressure conveying systems.
3. Multiple materials such as cast iron, cast steel, stainless steel, titanium steel, etc. can be used, and the flange mouth can be in various structural forms such as square or circular to meet the different needs of users.
The current ideal conveying method for screw conveyors is to minimize direct contact between people and materials through spring type safety valves, so that material transportation can be completed in a closed environment. In this way, it can not only save labor and reduce costs, but also avoid cross contamination and improve the automation level of the solid preparation production process. Negative pressure conveying, also known as vacuum conveying, uses a fully enclosed conveying system to transfer bulk materials (powders, particles), which completely eliminates environmental pollution and harm to operators caused by material leakage, as well as knife gate valve pollution to materials in the surrounding screw conveyor environment.
There are various forms of negative pressure sources for vacuum feeding screw conveyors, such as vacuum generators, water ring vacuum pumps, Roots blowers, etc. The advantages of vacuum generators are small size, light weight, easy installation, and can be applied in clean workshops. The cut-off valve of the pneumatic vacuum feeder adopts a jet vacuum pump, and the vacuum generator generates high vacuum under the action of compressed air to transport materials. It does not require a mechanical vacuum pump, and has a simple structure, small volume, maintenance free, low noise, and easy control. It can also eliminate material static electricity, fully complying with GMP requirements.
The stratification of materials during the conveying process of screw conveyors is also a problem that troubles the solid preparation production industry. Due to the differences in particle size and density of materials, the stratification of powder particles occurs.
