The TE-10-800 Type Six Stage Air Microbial Sampler is a porous, stacked collision (air) sampler commonly used for measuring the concentration and particle size distribution of aerobic bacteria and fungi in the environment. This sampler can collect all particles based on the sedimentation situation in the human lungs, regardless of their physical size, shape, or density. A culture dish containing agar medium can be placed in each stage of the sampler to collect microbial particles in the sampled air, which will be left on the culture medium by the impact of the airflow. Subsequently, the culture dish can be taken out and cultured, then calculated using the colony counting formula.
The TE-10-800 six stage air microbial sampler includes six aluminum porous platforms, silicone O-ring gaskets, vacuum pump kit, and portable case. The single-stage (or two-stage) sampler operates at 28.3 LPM.
