Aerosol concentration measuring instrument is a light scattering aerosol spectrometer system used for aerosol particle size analysis and concentration determination. It can be equipped with sensors with different measurement ranges as needed, and can be easily connected through optical cables and interchanged as needed. These sensors can reliably measure gas concentrations ranging from<1 particle/cubic centimeter to 106 particles/cubic centimeter.
Its unique feature is to support four measurement ranges in one device:
0.2µm–10µm
0.3µm–17µm
0.6µm–40µm
2 µ m -100 µ m (additional for sensor 2)
The device is renowned for measuring up to 128 size channels within each measurement range, with concentrations ranging from<1 particle/cubic centimeter to 106 particles/cubic centimeter. Touchscreen ensures user-friendly operation. It is easy to start measuring and can evaluate and display all data in real-time, such as current numerical distribution and concentration values, as well as 24 other statistical values.
Can be used as an independent measuring device (i.e. without an external computer) and can perform continuous measurements. All incoming data can be stored at a maximum time resolution of 1 second. Can independently measure and store data for several weeks.
Having standard interfaces, it can be controlled through process control systems or simple Labview programs. It is also very suitable for controlling and monitoring applications. Can connect temperature, humidity, and pressure sensors.
Equipped with a new 20MHz fast signal processing processor, it can analyze the process of each particle signal. In this way, coincidence events on a single signal can be identified and corrected in light scattering measurement technology (according to the theory of Dr. Umhauer/Professor Sachweh). This can increase the maximum concentration limit to 106 particles per cubic centimeter (2070 sensor). Similarly, using a 2500 sensor at low concentrations of<1 particle/cubic centimeter can also achieve higher measurement accuracy.
The following special features ensure high classification accuracy and high particle size resolution (see Figure 1):
White light and 90 ° light scattering detection
⇒ Clear calibration curve
• Obtain a professional T-aperture
⇒ No boundary area errors
New digital single signal processing
The coincidence detection and correction of individual signals make it possible to measure higher concentrations

Characterized by fiber optic technology. The aerosol sensor uses a Promo control unit and is connected through a fiber optic cable with a maximum length of 30m. Simply install the sensor directly at the sampling location to minimize particle loss in the long sampling pipeline.
The main features of the product are as follows:
