Sorensen Asterion DC Programmable Power Supply is a new product on the Asterion platform, which includes two types of products: fixed range type and automatic range type. Fixed range power supplies are economical, with a traditional rectangular output range and all the performance of the Asterion platform. The automatic range type power supply expands the output range of current and voltage on the basis of full output power, enabling it to meet a wider range of testing needs without the need to purchase additional models. In the initial stage, the voltage of the product can be selected as 40V and 60V, and the maximum current can reach 125A.
Control through the front panel touch screen and encoder or equipped digital control interface
Asterion DC programmable power products are controlled by a digital signal processor (DSP) and can be operated through an intuitive and easy-to-use front panel touch screen. This product comes standard with Ethernet LXI, USB, and RS232 control interfaces, and can be optionally equipped with GPIB control interfaces.
The icons of the touch screen function group include dashboard, output programming parameters, measurement, sequencing, configuration, control interface, application and system settings, which can be directly selected through the touch screen, or function selection and parameter input can be achieved through the encoder selector button. The system adopts a dynamic rate change algorithm to achieve control functions, cleverly combining the advantages of precise control over small parameter changes with fast scanning on a global scale.
