The 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump is a basic equipment used to extract gas from sealed containers. It can function independently or as a front-end pump for booster pumps, diffusion pumps, molecular pumps, etc., as well as a maintenance pump and a pre pumping pump for titanium pumps. It can be used for the manufacturing of electric vacuum devices, thermos bottles, vacuum welding, printing, vacuum forming, refrigeration equipment repair, and instrument matching. Because it has the advantages of small size, light weight, and low operating noise, it is more suitable for use in laboratories.
Long term continuous operation is allowed under the condition that the inlet pressure is less than 1.3 × 103 Pa within the ambient temperature range of 540. When the relative humidity of the extracted gas is greater than 90%, the gas damper should be opened.
When the 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump is pumping, the air inlet should be continuously unobstructed and the atmospheric operation should not exceed one minute.
The 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump is not suitable for extracting gases that are corrosive to metals, chemically react with pump oil, contain particulate dust, and have high oxygen content, as well as explosive and toxic gases.


Scope of application
1. The 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump is a basic equipment for obtaining vacuum. It can be used alone or as a front-end pump and pre pumping pump for various high vacuum systems.
2. The 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump shall operate continuously with the air inlet open for no more than three minutes.
3. The 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump is not suitable for extracting gases that are corrosive to metals, chemically react with pump oil, contain particulate dust, or contain explosive gases with high oxygen content.
4. The 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump shall not be used as a compression pump or conveying pump.
5. The working environment of the pump: within the temperature range of 5 ℃ -40 ℃, with a relative temperature not exceeding 90% and an inlet pressure less than 1333Pa, it is allowed to operate continuously for a long time.
6. When installing the power supply, follow the wiring instructions on the motor label and ensure that the direction of motor rotation is consistent with the direction of the arrow on the support.
7. The diameter of the pipeline for continuous pumping of containers should not be less than the inlet diameter of the pump, and the pipeline should be short and have fewer bends, while paying attention to pipeline leakage.
8. Before starting each time, pay attention to checking the oil level, and it is advisable to fill the oil to a height of 4/5 of the diameter of the oil gauge glass when stopping the pump.
9. The pump oil used is clean SY1634-701 vacuum pump oil.
10. The 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump can be started in one go under atmospheric or any vacuum degree. If the XZ-1 single-stage pump has difficulty starting, the intake pipe plug cap can be removed to start and then put into operation.

1. When using the 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump, it should be placed horizontally in a dry, ventilated, and clean place, with a distance of more than 2cm from the surrounding area and a spatial distance of not less than 5cm from the front and rear ends. When installed on the equipment, the normal air intake at the end of the fan blade cover should be ensured;
2. Installation of 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump on the matching machine; Remove the rubber machine feet under the bottom plate and connect them with ST4.2 self tapping screws. If there are special installation requirements, please contact our factory;
3. The inlet of the 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump can be connected according to the thread requirements of the inlet, or it can be inserted with a leather tube;
4. If the gas emitted by the 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump has an impact on human health or the working environment, a pipeline can be connected to the exhaust port to lead it out of the workplace or undergo environmental protection treatment;
5. If there is a special need, an electromagnetic valve can be installed on the intake nozzle of the direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump;
6. If the extracted gas contains a large amount of water vapor, high temperature, and dust, corresponding devices such as coolers and filters should be added to the inlet pipeline of the direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump to avoid affecting the normal use of the pump.

Instructions for Use
1. Check the oil level of the direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump, and it is advisable to fill the oil to the center of the oil gauge when stopping the pump. Low pressure cannot act as an oil seal for the exhaust valve, affecting the vacuum degree. Excessive pressure may cause fuel injection during atmospheric start-up. During operation, the oil level rises slightly, which is a normal phenomenon. The direct connected vacuum pump oil adopts the specified brand of clean vacuum pump oil, which is added from the oil filling hole. After refueling, you should tighten the screw plug. The oil should be filtered to prevent impurities from entering and blocking the oil hole.
2. The direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump can be started at once under atmospheric or any vacuum degree. If an electromagnetic valve is installed on the pump port, it should operate simultaneously with the pump.
When the ambient temperature is too high, the temperature of the oil increases, the viscosity decreases, and the saturated vapor pressure increases, which can cause a decrease in the ultimate vacuum, especially the total pressure measured by a thermocouple. By strengthening ventilation and heat dissipation, or improving the oil performance of direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pumps, the ultimate vacuum can be improved.
4. Check the ultimate vacuum of the direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump using a compression type mercury vacuum gauge. If the gauge has been fully pre calibrated and the pump temperature has reached stability, the direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump port should be directly connected to the gauge. Within 30 minutes of operation, the ultimate vacuum will be reached. The value measured by the total pressure gauge is related to the pump oil, vacuum gauge, and gauge errors, and sometimes the errors can be very large, which can only be used as a reference.
5. If the relative humidity of the direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump is high or the gas being pumped contains a lot of condensable steam, after connecting the pumped container, it is advisable to open the gas damper and close it after running for 20-40 minutes. Before stopping the direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump, the pneumatic damper can be opened and operated without load for 30 minutes to extend the pump oil life.
6. Oil selection for direct vacuum pump: The viscosity of the pump oil affects the starting power and the ultimate vacuum of the pump. High viscosity is beneficial for the vacuum degree, and the starting power is higher. The saturated vapor pressure of oil at the temperature of a direct coupled vacuum pump will affect the ultimate total pressure of the pump, the lower the better. The viscosity of high-speed vacuum pump oil and 3 # diffusion pump oil is higher than that of 1 # vacuum pump oil, and the saturated vapor pressure is lower than that of 1 # vacuum pump oil, but the price of 3 # diffusion pump oil is higher. The specific oil to choose can be selected based on the above introduction combined with specific usage requirements.
(1) In general, high-speed vacuum pump oil produced in Shanghai is used for applications that require a total pressure of 6X10-2 Pa. Small pumps with a flow rate of less than 4 liters per second can also be replaced by the No.1 vacuum oil pump, while direct pumps with a flow rate of more than 8 liters per second can be replaced by the No.3 diffusion pump.
(2) If the direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump does not have high requirements for vacuum degree, and oil contamination and replacement are frequent, and the oil supply of the direct coupled vacuum pump is difficult, 50 # mechanical oil can be used as a substitute.
(3) If the ambient temperature of the direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump is low, it is difficult to start, and the ultimate vacuum requirement is not high, vacuum pump oil or mechanical oil with slightly lower viscosity can be used.

Fault causes and troubleshooting methods
1. Low ultimate vacuum of direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump and its elimination

(1) The oil level of the 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump is too low and there is a loud exhaust sound. Clean direct coupled vacuum pump oil can be added.
(2) The oil of the 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump is contaminated by condensable steam, and can be purified by opening the gas damper or replaced with new oil.
(3) The external pipelines, containers, testing instrument pipelines, joints, etc. of the direct vacuum pump are leaking air. When there is a large leak, there is a loud exhaust sound and air is discharged from the exhaust port. The leaking part should be identified and eliminated.
(4) The rubber seal diagram of the intake nozzle or pneumatic valve of the 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump is improperly assembled, damaged or aged, and should be adjusted or replaced.
(5) The oil inlet hole of the 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump is blocked. The oil inlet can be removed to clear the oil hole.
(6) The vacuum system of the 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump is severely contaminated, including containers, pipelines, etc., and should be cleaned.
(7) The rotary spring of the 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump is broken and should be replaced.
(8) The rotor, pump body, or pump cover of the 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump are worn and have excessive clearance, and should be inspected, repaired, or replaced.
(9) The temperature of the 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump is too high, and ventilation and cooling should be improved. If the temperature of the extracted gas is too high, it should be cooled first before entering the pump.
2. Fuel injection of direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump
(1) The oil level of the 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump is too high, and excess oil can be added or removed.
(2) There is pump oil or debris in the defogger of the 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump, which should be removed.
3. Oil leakage of direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump
(1) The oil drain plug, oil tank gasket, or assembly of the 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump are improper, and the screws are tightened;
(2) The oil gauge of the 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump is not tightened, and the organic glass is overheated and deformed;
(3) The connecting gasket between the pump body components and the support of the 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump is not properly padded; Improper assembly or wear of oil seals; Should be adjusted or replaced.
4. Noise of direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump
(1) The spring of the 2XZ direct connected rotary vane vacuum pump is broken, and the spring can be replaced.
(2) The 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump has burrs, dirt or deformation, and there are obstacles in operation. It should be inspected, ground and cleaned.
(3) The bearings and parts of the 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump are worn. Should be repaired or replaced.
(4) The motor of the 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump is malfunctioning and should be inspected.
5. Return oil of direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump
(1) The check valve of the 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump is not closed properly. After stopping the pump, the oil level quickly drops. It can be restarted and stopped again to observe the changes or disassembled for inspection.

(3) The pump cover or pump body of the 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump is uneven and can be repaired.
(4) The exhaust valve plate of the 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump is damaged and should be replaced.
Note: Check the ultimate vacuum of the direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump using a compression mercury vacuum gauge.

Maintenance and Care
1. Keep the 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump clean to prevent debris from entering the pump;
2. Maintain oil level and strictly prohibit operation without oil;
3. Pay attention to the cleanliness of the oil. If the pump oil becomes dirty, cloudy, or contains water or other volatile substances that affect the ultimate vacuum, it should be replaced in a timely manner. When replacing new oil, first turn on the 2XZ vacuum pump and run it for 30 minutes to make the oil thinner. Stop the pump and drain the oil from the drain hole. Then open the air inlet and run it for 1-2 minutes. During this time, a small amount of clean 2XZ vacuum pump oil can be added from the air inlet to replace the oil stored in the pump chamber. Repeat several times to confirm that the pump is clean, then install the drain plug and inject clean pump oil from the oil filling hole until the oil level line is reached;
4. When the 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump is not used for a long time, it should be covered with inlet and exhaust caps and placed in a dry place, paying attention to moisture and rust prevention;
5. If dismantling and maintenance are required, it must be carried out by professionals with certain experience in repairing pumps, or by contacting our company.
Note: The relevant clauses on pump oil in the user manual of 2XZ direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump do not apply to the oil-free vacuum pump series.
